"I thank and praise God for the volunteers I met, for the bond that we were able to have. I just thank and praise God for this whole program- for everything that I have learned through every class. It has been a blessing. It has taught me to do better, to want to be better."

West College Hill | September 2021
This was a great experience to see it from the ground up. Every time I came out to the build site people would take the time to explain everything. It was wonderful. It's great knowing I have a house I can leave to my kids, that we can call home. We can customize it and know that this is home and we worked hard for it.

Evanston | November 2021
"For me, homeownership means changing the narrative- breaking some chains. Breaking the generational curse over my family that says we're only worthy enough to be renters and not homeowners. I'm grateful to God for this opportunity to change some things for my daughters."

"Our ultimate goals for our family are financial stability and security. Our dream is to have a home that will suit our family size and that we can call our forever home. Owning a home will allow us to accept more responsibility for what we want. It will also give us security in not worrying about having to move."

Conrad & Encosma
West End | June 2022
"When I was 14 years old, I would discuss with friends the way we would build our life. While they all said they wanted to buy a car, I told them I want to own a house. Since then, I've been trying to accomplish this goal. I am proud to say that with hard work, patience and God, we did it!"
